We at Sonic Lolly had the pleasure of hosting the uber talented and super intelligent Claudio when she presented at @emergencecreativefestival. So pleased to see her get the recognition she so deserves. Do not miss this if you are in Perth!
Emerging from the studio cocoon after two and a half days with the brilliant human that is Sam Perry Music. What a talent, what a joy, what a gentleman. Thank you to Sam & Libby for sharing your brilliance, passion and great human beingness.
We wish we could share Sam Perry Music‘s new single… but alas you will have to wait. Click on over to his page and “like” him for updates. I think you’ll like what we’ve done when it drops.
And what a week it was. The mighty Lior returned last week to Sonic Lolly for a writing retreat. Much beautiful music was made. As always it was a pleasure and an honour. Thank you to Lauren Trickett at The Backroom for the lovely snaps. #lior #noahshilkin #soniclolly #laurentrickett #aspacetocreate
We are very lucky to call this place home. An inspiring place to work with talented people all around us. The track “Backwards Hello” written by Juerlaine Prideaux & Noah Shilkin was the soundtrack for the Your Margaret River Region branding launch last week. A crowd of 400+ people attended the launch and were treated to a live performance of the track. Thanks to Juerlaine Prideaux, Mitch Baker & Tilly Kelleher for each of their unique versions. We nailed it!
Let us introduce you to our new addition. A Yamaha U3 upright. Here’s what Yamaha has to say about it “Designed for the experienced pianist and professional musician. Upright piano with outstanding tone, touch and durability. An expansive soundboard and acoustic chamber give the 131 cm (52″) U3 extended power and projection, with the peerless tonal and expressive control of the legendary Yamaha action.” We just think it’s fun to play and sounds great. Welcome to the family.
It was such a pleasure scoring these three highlights clips for #cinefestoz We look forward to seeing what the festival brings to the Southwest this August.
